Objective: To identify Spanish funded paediatric research published in general paediatric journals included in the Web of Science (WoS) from 2010 to 2014 and those published in Anales de Pediatría. To examine the relationship between funding and the prestige of the journals. To describe the journal conditions to meet the open access criteria. Factor de impacto nacional e internacional de ANALES DE PEDIATRÍA

Introducción: El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar los indicadores bibliométricos de repercusión de ANALES DE PEDIATRÍA en 2001, y su comparación con otras revistas pediátricas españolas. Material y método: Se analizaron 5.388 referencias bibliográficas de 1999, 2000 y 2001 de artículos citables publicados en 2001 en una selección de 87 revistas médicas españolas. Los indicadores obtenidos fueron el número de citas, el factor de impacto nacional e internacional y el índice de inmediatez. Objective: To describe the role of Anales de Pediatría in highlighting Spanish paediatric research, and to identify the journals with which it competes internationally. Material and method: Spanish paediatric articles, including those from Anales de Pediatría were identified using the Paediatrics category of the Science Citation Index (2010–2014), and their volume and document type was analysed. Purpose: To analyze the coverage and main bibliometric indicators of Anales de Pediatría in Scopus and Science Citation Index Expanded of the Web of Science (SCIE) databases. Material and method: The evolution of the journal production was identified according to the document types, collaboration indexes between authors and institutions, and citations, and impact indicators (number of citations, impact factor, 5-years impact factor and without self-citations, Scimago Journal Rank, quartile, h-index and most cited works).
